PHILOSOPHY OF SERVICES
Each of our clients are unique in their social, emotional, physical, and mental capabilities. Therefore, Serenity Homes of Illinois will provide a holistic approach to caring for each individual client. Serenity Homes of Illinois will consider the exceptional needs of the individual client we serve. We will understand that our client’s safety is foremost and will provide all necessary measures to ensure their comfort and security. We will be selective in staffing qualified personnel. Demonstrating that you care and understand is essential when working with people who have special challenges; these are qualities that our staff must possess.
Our belief is people with special challenges need someone to advocate for them, therefore we will at times, make calls to set appointments, drive clients to appointments, and help with speaking to potential employers.
We feel that each client needs a place where they can relax and have good clean fun therefore Serenity Homes will make sure each client is provided with recreation they enjoy.

Who We Are
Serenity Homes of Illinois a not-for-profit Section 501 (c) (3) organization is established to provide adults with intellectual and developmental challenges a range of services. The goal of Serenity Homes of Illinois is to create an atmosphere of safety, comfort, and pleasure. The organization seeks to provide a holistic approach of care which includes meeting the complex needs of adults with disabilities. This requires a variety of skills and task focused on their physical body, social-emotional needs, and spiritual awareness. Our staff will receive professional and on-going training by skilled personnel who have experience in educating and caring for people with developmental and intellectual needs. All workers will receive prior clearance through the Illinois Department of Public HealthCare Worker Registry background checks.
SERVICES PROVIDED
Serenity Homes of Illinois will provide the following services to our clients:

Safe and secure temporary overnight housing

Provide qualified and trained personal support workers

Educational support in area of need

Transportation to and from appointments as needed
